To whom it may concern,
I would like to provide the highest level of recommendation for hiring Christina De La Cruz. I have known Christina for nearly 10 years, during which time she served as my son's nanny and my house manager at six different homes. She is one of the most trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, and loyal people I know.
She began caring for my newborn son in 2013 and quickly proved herself to be highly competent in all tasks, while also being extremely warm and nurturing which is a very rare combination. When our family moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 2015, we were absolutely thrilled when Christina decided to move with us. She had become a member of our family and we all lived together in the same home for the next several years.
Christina quickly proved herself to be an amazing project manager in coordinating all activities for our home - construction, maintenance & repairs, and service provider management. She has the impressive ability to keep people on schedule and on budget, while also building strong, honest relationships with everyone. Christina is also a very tough and fair negotiator who is consistently able to secure great pricing from service providers.
Christina is truly a diamond in the rough and I would encourage anyone to hire her for Estate Care/House Manager duties. You will not find a more loyal, driven, and conscientious employee with an unmatched moral compass.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly if you would like me to further sing Christina's praises.
Thank you,
Chris Thorne , CMO BEATS

To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter to provide an enthusiastic recommendation for hiring Christina De La Cruz.
I've known Christina for 9 years, during which she has worked for my family as a devoted and incredible caretaker for our son and as an efficient, results-oriented and well-liked home / estate manager. My former husband and I initially hired Christina after we met her through an agency in San Francisco (where we all lived at the time) and hired her immediately, based on her calm, warm and loving manner, her incredible knowledge of child development, and her keen understanding of how homes with two working professionals function. Christina quickly became part of the family; so much so that when we moved to Los Angeles in 2015, we all easily came to the mutual conclusion that we would move (and live!) together.
Our arrival in LA represented a fairly major lifestyle change for all of us; we moved from a San Francisco apartment into a large home with a significant number of requirements and responsibilities.
Further, while my former husband worked in LA, I began commuting to San Francisco for the bulk of each week. To say that our lives were chaos would be an understatement, but Christina stepped in with assurance and ease, quickly taking over key household management duties while seamlessly acting as an almost third parent for our son. Her dedication to our son and our family - and the excellence with which she did it - helped us through a very difficult, complex time - and I'm not sure that anyone else could have done it anywhere close to as well as she did it.
We soon moved to another home with more requirements, and while I was in LA a little more, I still had NO idea how to manage a house. (Semi-annual washer checks? Learned about those courtesy of Christina. Semi-annual gutter cleaning? Same.) She both taught me how to take care of a home but also managed it so that I didn't have to take time away from my son and work. Further, Christina built me a House Management file so that I could have all of this information (including service providers) in one place. Her initiative, ability to get things done, and her repoire with all who worked with us led to a calm and lovely home. At the same time, my son had (and still does!) grown to worship her and today they have an incredibly tight relationship.
Christina's strengths are many to name but they include her empathy for other humans and what their needs might be - both practical (forseeing what a homeowner might need/want) and emotional. She is a problem-solver who gets things done. She is excellent with other people and well-liked wherever she is. She also has a wealth of knowledge across many different areas, including IT, construction / home management, child development and care, landscaping, and food preparation and management.
Finally and most important, my former husband, my son and I would all trust her with our lives. She has an impeccable moral compass and makes great decisions based on common sense and empathy.
Anyone would be extremely lucky to have Christina in their home.
Best,
Heather Smith Thorne, Private Equity Partner

To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing this letter because I highly recommend Christina Dela Cruz for employment. I have known Christina for almost fifteen years and met her right before my first child was born in April 2008. My husband and I hired Christina on the spot because of her experience, glowing references and calm/mature manner that proved to be unwavering over the six plus years that she' worked with our family. Our second child was born in May 2010 and Christina took on that additional responsibility with ease and enthusiasm. She meticulously wrote daily notes detailing our children's meals, activities, play dates and nap schedule. She made us feel connected to our children even when we were not there by sharing pictures and videos of their daily excursions and experiences. I would often encounter other parents in our neighborhood who recognized my children and tell me how wonderful our nanny was with them. All of these positive comments came unsolicited and only reinforced how wise our decision has always been to have Christina in our family's lives.
Our irreplaceable relationship with Christina has never paused even after she stopped working full time with our family. She has continued to be a part of our family's lives by caring for our children when we have been out of town, sending birthday and holiday greetings or just checking in when our children have reached big milestones (like going to high school recently!) Her exceptional care, commitment, detail-oriented nature, problem solving ability and loyalty are Christina's strengths.
IF you are lucky enough to have her enter your life, then you will feel as have received a gift. You can count on duties and responsibilities done immediately, efficiently and better than you could have imagined.
I would be delighted to speak with you anytime about Christina in case you have follow up questions or would like additional insight on her experience.
Sincerely,
Julie Fleischer, Managing Director Charter Equity

To Whom This May Concern:
We have had the pleasure of knowing Christina Dela Cruz for a decade and have only positive feelings for and interactions with her.
First, Christina is a "people person", one who has charisma partnered with authenticity, which is rare. We know few people who are totally grounded yet reveal common sense coupled with book smarts. She has both! We have observed Christina interacting with our grandson, patiently and lovingly, as well as with builders, subcontractors, and small business owners. She consistently asks pertinent questions and responds with kindness and respect. Both her ethics and confidence are to be admired.
Second, Christina is a moral woman who lives an honorable life. One never has to wonder about her motivation, her responsibility, or her commitment to a friend, an employer or to her job. Her standards are exemplary.
Finally, we both consider Christina to be a rare gem, so we hired her as a project manager recently. We would not hesitate to do so again. She is qualified to handle any estate property management assignment. We have confidence in her work ethic, but, more importantly, we admire her character.
Christina is an outstanding individual, and project manager and we recommend her as an employee without reservation.
